Our Impact

Since 2016 we’ve supported 1000s of women through every step of their political journeys.

We produce online workshops and resources, as well as hold in person events to create safe spaces for women to explore their futures as leaders, legislators and champions of political governance.

Women attend our workshops for many reasons, either to find out how to join a party, how to stand or to get the final inspiration to go for it. They’re always free, online and accessible for women across Britain.

We make sure a lack of money or political connections don’t prevent women entering politics.

We support women from under-represented backgrounds with the personal costs of running for election to support with financial barriers to entering politics through our Fund Her programme.

I honestly wouldn't have had the confidence to start on my political journey without Elect Her.”

— Hillary, workshop participant

The women we’ve supported have stood for 10 political parties and as independents.

We are a non-partisan organisation and our programme of support hears from speakers across all political parties and independents. We need more women in every party, in every sphere of Government.

We bring women together in community to explore how to make an impact in politics.

We’ve held three large-scale events in the Scottish Parliament and Welsh Senedd, bringing hundreds of women in all their diversity together to explore taking up space in the world of politics.

We reflect on our progress and the difference we make to women’s political journeys in our community.

In 2022, we asked our members in Scotland when and why Elect Her, what steps they have taken in their political journey and the extent to which Elect Her was a factor in their journey.

With your support we can continue to help women at every stage of their political journey.

Support us helps providing workshop sessions to help even more women to get into politics. Can you help?
