Start HERe to facilitate discussions about women and their political power.
Whether you’re a community organisation or group, or university or college society or association, this workshop will introduce you to the history of women in English politics. We provide you with all the necessary resources and support to create meaningful discussions with women in your group or wider community.
Our workshop fosters insightful discussions on the importance of diverse voices and gender equality in political decision-making.
Through the workshop, you and your attendees will go on a journey, discovering women who paved the way in English politics to what needs to happen in the future. Attendees will leave with the knowledge and tools to actively participate in shaping a more inclusive political arena. Start Here is built for women and non-binary people curious about elected politics who want to learn how to create a brighter, better and more equitable future!
If you are running this workshop for students, we encourage you to run the workshop during quieter times in your university/college calendar, such as during the first semester around November, or in the second semester between January-March.
