She Speaks. A bespoke skills workshop for councillors. Thursday 8th June 12:30-14:00. Boost your public speaking skills for a life in elected office. Discover getting heard, how to handle being ignored, dealing with interruptions or negative comments

Public speaking is a vital part of life as a councillor. Whether you’re currently serving your first term, or just generally feel like you need support in boosting your public speaking skills, come join us and public speaking coach Patricia Seabright to help find your voice.


In this free lunchtime workshop, we will explore:

  • Getting heard

  • How to handle being ignored

  • Dealing with interruptions, or negative comments

This session is open to all women currently elected in local politics across Britain. To register, please complete the form below.

All women are welcome to register for this workshop. Non-binary people whose experiences or identities intersect with women’s  and therefore feel they would benefit from accessing a women-centred space are welcome to join us.
