SCOTLAND’S WOMEN GATHER

Join us for a day of inspiration, information and motivation.

In partnership with the Scottish parliament, we are hosting a day to celebrate women in political power. Whether you’re up for making a change in your local community, you’d like to join a party or you want to put yourself forward for election, we can make sure your voice is heard.

Join us on Saturday 24th June for a real celebration of the confident and unbelievable women in our community. There’ll be music and singing, the warmest of welcomes and a room full of amazing, like-minded women who just get it.

You’ll also be able to participate in free workshops and activities as we explore democratic participation in a safe and inclusive space. To top it off, you’ll be able to take your seat in the actual Parliament chamber – and as you sit in the seats of decision-makers, you’ll hear the positive and inspiring stories of women in elected office.

If we want a genuinely feminist and equitable society, we need your perspective to change the conversation. Women across Scotland are underrepresented at every level of politics.

We’re not short of women who care and are working for change in Scotland, and it’s these women we need represented in the corridors of power. For politics to truly reflect the diversity of the Scottish population, there needs to be 65 MSPs who are women, including 26 disabled women and 5 women from an ethnic minority background

If you’d like to explore becoming a leader, legislator and champion of Scotland’s political governance, we’re here to help you take those steps. The time is now – you could be the one to make a difference

Come together with your fellow women to lead the change in politics. Book your space now.

Elect Her is a fully inclusive and intersectional organisation. All women are welcome to register to access our activities. We acknowledge that non-binary people do not fit into the binary categories of women and men, but we recognise that some non-binary people’s experiences or identities intersect with women’s and we’d love to welcome you in this space.
